About

Hi! I'm Tash, Im So Pleased You Have Found My Slice of the Internet
It's always a bit of an odd thing writing an about you page, so I'm going to bullet point the heck out of it to make it less awkward!

. I'm a 30 something, wavy haired creative who is constantly coming up with new ideas and projects and not finishing what I have started. I have many places in the house with started craft projects and hobbies squirrelled away.
. I own a wedding cake business under the name The Diamond Baker here in Dorset UK. I specialise in painted and nature inspired wedding cakes which all started because my mother in law made me a beautiful chocolate box cake back in 2011.
. I live with my wild and free spirited daughter Summer, my creative (and hoarder of insane quantities of classic car crap) husband Ben and our long haired rescue cat Flossie aka the bird and mouse killer. Even two bells doesn't seem to be helping.
. We live on the South coast of the Uk in a beautiful county Dorset. Cornwall is our close second favourite place.
. We like classic cars in this house and have a slightly rough around the edges 1965 Morris Minor and a series 3 Landrover (I should add, this is currently in many pieces in the garage, therefore not sure it can be counted)
. I love to grow things and gardening and house plants make me a happy, crazy plant loving lady. I don't always keep them alive, but God loves a trier.
. I also love to travel and explore new places, but not going to lie, its been tough old 4.5 years (obviously no correlation with having a 4.5 year old. Moving on) but there is hope for the future.
. When the weather is playing ball, we love to camp. Used to be tent people, but are very grateful to now be VW van losers.
. Cooking for people is how I show I care. If you don't wake up working out what you will eat today, we can't be friends.
. I am partial to the odd tequila based cocktail, spiced rum or a glass of white wine. I never remember to jot down wines I like, so its always a Russian roulette if I'm going to like it. Living on the edge.
. I should have been born an Italian. The food, culture and general heart on sleeve nature would have been right up my street.
.
If you haven't been royally put off, let's be bff's

Much Love
Tash x
